Chicken Licker!!

Normally I don't delve into international news. I tend to stick to stuff in country. I'm not saying I don't keep up on news outside Korea. It's just not that relevant to my daily life. Also, I don't post my thoughts on news in general, and politics specifically, because I don't feel like getting schooled by a bunch of people who are much more intelligent than I am. Hell, on most days I have a hard time spelling intelligent. Is it an 'e' or an 'i' that goes in the middle? I don't fucking know.

Anyways, I couldn't resist posting this little gem out of the UK.

Chicken Licker

Maybe he just really liked the chicken? I don't know.

Anyways, time to put in my 3 hours of work. I'll be pretty busy this weekend. I'm going to Nampo-dong tomorrow, so long as the lady and I don't get in a fight. I'll drop a post sometime Saturday or Sunday and let you know how my Christmas shopping adventure goes.

Have a good day.

  1. This just makes me think of the old and very weird insult, "I have you down as a bit of a pigeon licker."

  3. Hey Man-Boy !

Didn't know where to answer your comment about homebrewing. First, I'd advise you to ask your dad to buy you "Brewing Classic styles" by Jamil Zainasheff and John Palmer. It's a little bit advanced, but not that much. It's a very very good book, written by two very very good brewers. It's the kind of gift you want.

You can find all the basics about homebrewing on John Palmer's website, as he displays his book in free access on the net. http://www.howtobrew.com/
Also, when you want to buy books in Korea, check out http://www.whatthebook.com/ (foreign books in Korea).

After you understand the whole process of brewing (very easy, don't get too much in the scientific stuffs, keep it simple. it should take you 1 or 2 weeks tops), register on our foreign homebrewing community in Korea:
    http://www.homebrewkorea.com/forums/

Then, ask all the questions you need, even the ones that seem the dumbest to you, and we will help you out.

Later on, I advise you to listen to the "Brew Strong" podcasts, are they are very good tools to develop your brewing skills.

And the most helpful of all, if you are in Kyeonggi, you should come and brew with one of us, so you can actually understand the whole concept better.

Shoot me your email address through a comment, and I won't publish it. I guess it's better to communicate.

    Cheers !
